In the NYT blog today people advised sticking a stake through Hillary's heart, wanting to see her in a coffin to make sure, putting her back under her rock, and killing her (ding dong). So I guess if Obama's people get in (of course, HE did not say this, just the ocean level stuff) there will be plenty of work for hospitalists. Those people are mean!

Hyperbole? Yes. A better option than what we've had for quite some time? Obviously. I think major party nominees will always be disappointing as the two party system is an archaic joke which demands contortion into idea robots for political success. But I do think Obama is a very intelligent guy who has the capacity to be transparent and admit mistakes.

Hey, to be fair to Obama, this isn't the first time a candidate has pledged messianic deeds. Just 4 years ago Sen. Edwards promised to make the lame walk.
