Yeah, I finally learned the interviewing techniques taught in med school are useless.

I start with either 'why are you here' or, for a certain generation, 'what's up'?

Along the lines of Strong One's hilarious reply, a relative of mine took her alzheimer-suffering MIL to the doctor. The doctor asked MIL if she knew where she was, and she responded, "Why, I'm right here." Then in a moment of doubt, she looked to her daughter-in-law for confirmation, "aren't I?"

Geez are you REALLY a doctor?? Thats somethin you learn on like day 2 of your first clinical rotation, and YOU'RE the dumbass, you asked a stupid question, and got a stupid answer...You gotta say "So Whats WRONG with You?" or better yet, just do a cursory physical exam and then order a bunch of labs and X-rays, 99% of em lie anyway...
