The McRib? That loaf of processed food pressed into a fake shape and accented with too much sauce and bitter onions?

I had like 5 of them this year. I went the other day to get another and it was still on the menu but they said they weren't serving them anymore. What a gip.

Re: http://thehappyhospitalist.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-ate-mcdonalds-tonight.html

Anonymous 6:21,

Calm down, dude! Even people with "healthy lifestyles" deserve an occasional treat. That Happy chooses the most popular fast food restaurant in the world is not his fault. He's conditioned by popular media to want those two all-beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun.

Re: http://thehappyhospitalist.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-ate-mcdonalds-tonight.html

Umm Man, that double cheeseburger for 99 cents?? I like to take 2 of em, throw out the extra bread and make a big-ass Quad-rupple Cheeseburger...beats those over priced Wendy's Burgers

Re: http://thehappyhospitalist.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-ate-mcdonalds-tonight.html

You've got to be kidding me- all your holier-than-thou preaching about fatty lifestyles, and smokers should be banned from public areas, and saying people who make bad health choices ought to pay for their own costs- You go and eat at Mickey D's?

In general, I can understand where you're coming from, even though I can't agree with 90% of it because to implement half of what you're saying would basically be living under a totalitarian dictatorship. I agree that the present system is broken and entirely wrong- I disagree with what to do about it.

But at least be consistent- don't brag about going to McDonalds- even acting like it's a guilty pleasure or something. At least be consistent with what you're saying- don't be a hypocrit! Don't preach against fatty lifestyles and then go to McDonalds!

Sorry but I'm rapidly losing all respect for you here.

Re: http://thehappyhospitalist.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-ate-mcdonalds-tonight.html

True confessions: I love their "tastee" ice cream cones.
