The correct answer is that she has no allergies, but likes the romance of being a delicate creature--her sister once had a bad reaction to penicillin, erythromycin gave her a yeast infection, levaquin just doesn't work for her, and she meant she is nuts, not that she is allergic to nuts.

Well, seriously. You just weren't asking the right way. LOL All questions must be specific - Are you allergic to any medications?

Unfortunately, even then I could never get a straight answer from a patient.
